  To receive acupuncture services, request a referral from your VA provider to Archetype Acupuncture (Sun Yun, LAc). Once we receive the referral, we’ll contact you to schedule your first appointment. This service is fully covered by the VA with no copay. We are honored to support America’s Veterans.

• Workers’ Compensation
  For acupuncture services under Workers’ Compensation, contact your provider, claims adjuster, or case manager to request a referral. Once approved and sent to us, we’ll reach out to schedule your appointment. Services are fully covered with no copay, but an approved referral is required.

❌ INSURANCES NOT ACCEPTED

• We do not accept health insurance plans such as HMSA, HMAA, Kaiser, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Aetna, Medicare, Medicaid, or auto accident claims (Personal Injury Protection or third-party liability), among others.

• However, we can provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you may submit to your health insurance company for potential reimbursement if your plan includes out-of-network acupuncture coverage.

• Important Notes About Superbills:

  • We do not bill insurance companies directly.

  • Please contact your insurance provider to verify coverage and obtain claim submission instructions.

  • Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your specific insurance plan.
